Roundup: Why It's Killing Us

Roundup is a very common weed-killer used generously on food crops that are grown conventionally. Roundup use is especially prevalent on GMO (Genetically Modified) crops, because most of them have been engineered specifically for the ability to tolerate very high levels of glyphosate (the active ingredient of Roundup) being sprayed on them. The only crops that glyphosate is not sprayed on are USDA Certified organic food crops.
Glyphosate has been implicated to be a causative factor in the rapidly increasing incidence of Celiac disease and gluten sensitivity found in Western nations. It is also found to be a causative factor in the development of autism, the worsening of bipolar and schizophrenia symptoms, and a cause of the high incidence of Alzheimer disease in many Western nations. It has also been thoroughly linked with the high incidence of the development of obesity, Type 2 diabetes, infertility, and cancer in the USA.
The high levels of glyphosate sprayed on GMO crops that have been engineered for that very purpose massively increased the negative health affects of glyphosate exposure on people who ate GMO crops.
If you eat conventionally grown crops, your glyphosate exposure is probably already causing you health problems, but if you eat GMO crops including almost 100% of the soy, corn, sugar beets, canola oil, rice, and cotton grown in the US, you probably have much more negative health affects than if you avoid GMO crops and their products in their entirety.
The only crops that will give you the least amount of glyphosate exposure are USDA Certified organic fruits and vegetables. If you use Roundup on your lawn or vegetable garden, STOP IMMEDIATELY!!! It will give you disease, full stop, no exceptions.

This is probably one of the major reasons, along with many others, that people eating exclusively organic fruits and vegetables, and mostly organic grass-fed or pasture raised and fed meat, have significantly lower rates of, or significantly reduced symptoms of, the diseases listed above.
How significantly you suffer the symptoms of these "diseases of civilization" is mostly within your direct control. Most people who implement a Paleo type diet and lifestyle will eliminate, lessen the severity of, or prevent all the diseases listed above.
