This novel was cleanly written and edited, with no typos that I caught. The world building was competent, and the characterization of the heroine was also competently done. The characterization of the three heroes was quite rudimentary, but I don't know if the author would have been able to do a more in-depth job, considering the page count of this story. The one thing I disliked about this story was the fact of the original romance between the heroine and the heroes being told as flashbacks from the present timeline. In general, I am not a reader who is much of a fan of the flashback storytelling format. The development of the romance between all the protagonists was not very organic or well fleshed out. I did not really witness these characters going through the process of falling in love. That could have been a function of the short page count or the flashback storytelling format, however. Where this novel really shines is in the plot, which was exciting and had me turning the pages quickly to find out what was going to happen next. The angst in this novel was medium to medium low, and the stakes were very high in this story, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures in a romance novel. The spicy scenes in this novel were somewhat pedestrian, but I enjoyed them nonetheless. This novel used the Woman Shortage trope, which is one of my favorite tropes in post-apocalyptic or dystopian romance. I recommend this novel to readers who enjoy reverse harem romances with some BDSM elements and dystopian elements. I will not be buying myself a keeper copy of this novel, I don't think, even though I enjoyed it.
