4 Stars

This novel was cleanly written and edited, with few if any typos that I found in the ARC version of this manuscript. The world building was competent, with this story being a contemporary romantic suspense set in an omegaverse world. The characterization was also fairly competent, considering how short the novel is and the fact that there was a heroine and three romantic heroes in this novel. Characterization of three or more heroes is a big challenge faced by authors of reverse harem romances. The development of the romantic relationship was natural and organic. The plot and pacing was exciting, with e turning pages quickly to find out what was going to happen next. This novel had high angst, but it was caused by the plot setup of the novel and the high stakes in this novel, so I was able to enjoy it. This novel used the Second Chance trope. The world building, plot, and pacing rated four stars. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship also rated four stars. Therefore, the combined score of this novel was four stars. This novel ended on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that is a big plus for this novel. I recommend this novel to readers who enjoy m/f omegaverse romances which end on a HEA instead of a cliffhanger. I love m/f omegaverse, but a lot of them are trilogies which end on cliffhangers, which is a big drawback. I plan to buy myself a keeper copy of this novel. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
