This novel was well written and edited, with few if any typos that I caught. The world building is interesting, with the Krezlian menace being quite overtly menacing in this installment of the series, I believe even more menacing than the previous novels in this series. The characterization is competent, with both the hero and heroine of this novel being vibrant, sympathetic individuals. The romantic relationship development in this novel was well balanced with the adventure and action sequences. This novel contained many adventure and suspense elements. The angst was pretty low in this novel and the stakes were sky high, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. One weakness of this series, and this novel in particular, is how one dimensional and flat, as far as characterization goes, the Krezlian villains are. This novel contains the Secret Baby trope and the Fated Mates trope, so readers who enjoy those tropes might enjoy this novel. I recommend this novel to readers who enjoy sci-fi romance with alien heroes and a distinct space opera vibe. I will be buying myself a keeper copy of this novel.
