This novel was not well written or edited, with wrong word choices, missing words, words that are properly capitalized being in lowercase, and incorrectly constructed sentences galore. It detracted quite a bit from my ability to sink into and enjoy the story because it was so rampant. The characterization was poorly done, with these two characters being flat and unlikeable. The world building is poorly done, without the ability to really get a good mental picture of this alien world or culture. The best thing about this novel is that the plot moved along briskly and would have been exciting in a better written novel. The development of the romantic relationship between these two characters was poor, with me seeing no reason why the heroine should love the hero and no process of watching these two falling in love based on their actions. The worst thing about this novel is that it ends on a cliffhanger ending instead of a Happy Ever After ending, which was a nasty shock for me when I got to the end. I do not recommend this novel.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
